After over 30 years in business you will still find the owner of Essex & Morris, John M. Trezza, working along side his employees on your project. Mr. Trezza and his partner started Essex & Morris Contracting Co. Inc. in 1984 with the focus of becoming a reliable paving and roofing contractor. In 1985 Mr. Trezza bought out his partner and dialed in on becoming strictly a residential paving contractor. In 1994 John married his wife Cynthia, who became the vice president of the Company. Their collaboration led them to expand into the concrete and masonry markets while growing the business substantially. Exceeding their residential barrier, and moving onto larger projects in the commercial industry. In 2017 a second generation entered the company, their son, Anthony Trezza. After years of experience working along side his parents, Anthony became the Secretary of the company. Today, Essex & Morris is a family owned and operated paving, concrete and masonry-contracting company, which strives to broaden its horizon in the construction industry while continuously building the credibility behind its name.

John M. Trezza is the President of Essex and Morris, and oversees all daily operations. Mr. Trezza is responsible for customer relations, estimating and project management. With over three decades of success in the industry, his experience and knowledge has made him an expert. Mr. Trezza is a very active leader who knows it is crucial for him to oversee all projects. Which is why you will find him working along side his employees on your project. Utilizing this method of leadership has provided Essex & Morris a team of skilled and passionate employees.

Cynthia A. Trezza is the Vice President of Essex & Morris who oversees all daily administrative operations with responsibilities of finances, accounting and customer relations. Anthony M. Trezza is the Secretary of Essex & Morris who is responsible for the strategic planning and management of daily operations, along with estimating, vehicle fleet maintenance, and heavy equipment operating.
Mr. Trezza from a young age has always desired to follow in his parent’s footsteps of being part of the family business. After graduating Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, he entered the company in 2017, ready to work along side his parents to expand the business and venture into new opportunities.
